Encounter with Israel || 9 to 19 June 2025

Invitation to the journey: How do people live in Israel between 7 October 2023 and the future?

A journey full of impressions and encounters

In a small group of ten to twelve travellers, we will give you a deep insight into contemporary life and the mood in Israel. You will receive comprehensive information about the events that have taken place since 7 October 2023 and the prospects for the development of the region.

I invite you to more than just a trip – to an opportunity to grasp contexts, understand destinies and experience unforgettable moments.

We begin in northern Israel, a region scarred by Hezbollah attacks. Here you will meet inspiring people who go about their daily lives despite the daily threats. Their stories of resilience and hope will touch you and change the way you see this region forever.

In the Jordan Valley we visit Moshava Tomer. Immerse yourself in the world of modern date farming and learn how life works between the Palestinian city of Jericho and the Jordanian border. A highlight will be a meeting with Yogev Karsanti, a leading expert in the fight against anti-Semitism and a long-time resident of the region. His insights into the challenges and opportunities of the Jordan Valley are unique.

A key moment of the trip is a visit to the region around Gaza, which was devastated by a devastating terrorist attack on 7 October. Talk to people who have lived through this tragedy and see first-hand the incredible efforts being made to rebuild. These encounters show the strength and will to move forward even in the darkest of times.

Tel Aviv marks the end of our journey. You will meet people who have faced suffering and loss, and others who are working tirelessly for the families of the hostages.

Our programme is designed to adapt as events unfold - for maximum authenticity and unforeseen highlights. You will enjoy dinner in the kibbutzim (included in the price), while in the cities we leave room for culinary discovery - with restaurant tips and the freedom to choose together or individually.

This trip is your chance to understand Israel beyond the headlines, and to meet the people who have suffered history and are shaping better times to come.
